DirecTV Rolls Out Fresh New Look for Satellite Users
DirecTV is giving its satellite customers a much-needed update with a brand-new user interface. If you’re using a Genie or Gemini device, expect a smoother, more modern experience.
The upgrade includes a redesigned menu and an improved “Sports Central,” which first launched in 2023. This is the first big menu revamp in over five years, bringing satellite users closer to the experience of DirecTV’s streaming customers.

Sports fans will love the upgraded “Sports Central.” It puts live games, scores, and stats in one place, plus content from select third-party apps.
The update rolls out in phases, starting today in Denver, Colorado. More satellite users will get it nationwide later this year.
